Our 2-Day Arts & Crafts course is a relaxed, hands-on programme designed to encourage creativity, confidence, and connection through making.
Over two supportive days, learners explore a range of creative activities such as painting, drawing, mixed media, and simple craft projects. The focus is on process over perfection—there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to create.
This course is particularly well-suited to neurodiverse learners, offering:
- A calm, welcoming environment
- Clear routines and step-by-step guidance
- Choice in materials and activities
- Opportunities to work independently or alongside others
Alongside creative expression, learners naturally build skills in:

NZ First Aid Certificate
Foundation Skills

In addition, this course has further focus on managing first aid in emergency situations. There is some teaching focused on Anaphylaxis, managing multiple patients, head injuries, environmental conditions (hyper and hypothermia), spinal injuries, and eye injuries.

Foundation Skills

This practical two-day Computer Basics course is designed to build confidence and essential digital skills for everyday study, work, and life.
Learners will gain hands-on experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, learning how to create simple documents, manage basic spreadsheets, and build clear presentations. The course focuses on real-world tasks, clear step-by-step instruction, and plenty of supported practice time.
You will learn how to:
- Create, edit, save, and format documents in Word
- Enter data, use simple formulas, and organise information in Excel
- Design and present basic slides in PowerPoint
- Use a computer more confidently, including files, folders, and everyday shortcuts
This course is ideal for beginners or anyone wanting a refresher in a supportive, low-pressure learning environment. Teaching is practical, paced, and inclusive, with support available for learners who may be neurodiverse or returning to learning.
