Basic Life Support is a 4hr course based on NZQA unit standard 6402 requirements.

This course is the most basic and focuses on CPR, choking and controlling life-threatening bleeding.
All learners will be assessed on CPR for adults or children and infants, choking for adults or children and infants and controlling of severe bleeding and treatment of shock. All assessments are scenario based where learners must demonstrate their knowledge.

• Eligible for NZQA unit standards 6402.
